Most of us moms already know that it’s necessary to take care of ourselves. We’ve been told to relax from time to time, to give time for ourselves, etcetera. But sometimes, no matter how we try to relax, there’s one thing which will always stress us. And that is when we think of our budget. How can a mom relax if she sees how the prices of basic needs keep on rising? That’s how it is, you know. Because moms will always prioritize her family over herself. For example, if you have a small baby, a mother will buy a baby shampoo first a hundred percent before buying her shampoo. In my case, I put laundry detergents first on my shopping list before my lipstick, if ever I need one. I don’t see anything wrong with that also, because I think it’s just natural for us.
Fortunately for us, P&G and Robinsons Supermarket, recognized this innate character of mothers. They know that in order for us to be truly healthy and happy, we must be able to use the right and quality products not only for ourselves but for our kids, our husbands and our home. That is how I see why P&G and Robinsons Supermarket launched the Wellness Moms movement and I am glad to be a part of it. In the media launch of this movement, celebrity moms Denise Laurel, Nikka Martinez-Garcia, and host Issa Litton were present and discussed how P&G’s own wellness products became part of their lives-Baby, Family/Household, and Personal Wellness. Of course, they were beautiful, all mestiza but what I was able to relate to was that like them, they were hands-on at home and their kids.
Nikka, the wife of Patrick Garcia, mentioned how her husband is particular with how his clothes smell. My husband on the other hand, is not that conscious of his clothes, but he has favorite clothes which he wears over and over again. Nikka uses Downy because Patrick approves of its smell. I on the other hand use Ariel because it is gentle with the color of our clothes. It just proves that P&G products are very important in our households. We can all share each others’ tips and experiences and in one point or another, we will be mentioning P&G products – Ariel, Downy, Safeguard, Joy, Pampers and Vicks Vaporub.
