It’s the most wonderful time of the year but SM City North EDSA is making it even more merrier for all of us because its Christmas theme is a Disney theme! Mickey and Minnie and the rest of the Disney’s Tsum Tsum animated YouTube shorts are featured in this years 45-foot Christmas tree and we couldn’t help feeling awed with its size and grandeur.
We were lucky to be able to witness the launch of Disney’s Tsum Tsum Christmas Tree last November 10 at SM City North EDSA The Block. I made sure to bring the girls with me as we are all Disney fans and they were very thankful to me and SM for giving them the chance to be a part of the event. Disneyland had been our favorite theme park and we are still planning to go back. Seeing the Disney village in SM made us miss Disney but happy at the same time to enjoy them here at home.
The unveiling event was made magical and meaningful as it was star-studded and full of surprises. Food and treats in Disney Tsum Tsum character theme were distributed to the attendees. There were on-screen visual animation of Tsum Tsum characters, a silent caroling by hearing-impaired students of the Philippine School for the Deaf, and then ballerinas dancing as pixies who also led us to the opening of the “Tsum-tacular Christmas Village”.
The launch of the “Tsum-tacular Christmas Village” is the start of the magical Christmas in all SM Supermalls outlets displaying their own Disney and Pixar-themed holiday displays: Mickey Mouse and Friends, Disney Princess, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Cars, and Sofia the First.
Go visit the Tsum-tacular Christmas Village at the SM City North EDSA The Block Atrium which will be displayed till January 7, 2018. I suggest to go shopping in SM for your gift-giving as I find their shops offering quality products in more affordable prizes. Don’t forget to buy the “Bears of Joy” through SM Cares so you can get also get to share your blessings to charity.
Aside from SM North, which SM mall are you going to visit this Christmas?
