When I received the trial packets of the new flavor mixes of Ajinomoto Crispy Fry, I immediately “road-tested” them in my kitchen ( You can check how it went here) I didn’t expect that Ajinomoto will have more exciting things for us after a couple of weeks.
Just this February 24, Ajinomoto invited media and bloggers for a not-so-usual press gathering which was called #CrispyFryPlayDay . As soon as I knew that it will be a day in the Trampoline Park, I made sure to bring my tweens with me. It was a great opportunity for the three of us to bond together (girls only without dad this time, though we thought it should have been more fun if he came along). This was our first time to visit a trampoline park so we were all excited. I’ve read that jumping in trampoline can make you burn a lot of calories which was perfect since we don’t have a lot of time to go out lately due to work at home and school works.

That day, Ajinomoto officially launched its Crispy Fry®Shake! Shake! Shake!® which puts an exciting twist to the family’s favorite Crispy Fry® fried chicken with the addition of three new flavor mixes: Parmesan Cheese, Smokey Barbecue, and Savory Seaweed.
We were all surprised that the brand endorser, Donna Cruz-Larrazabal, would also be there with her husband and 2 sons. Donna still looks very young at her age (actually she still looks like a teenager!) and she is so full of life! I think she is a perfect brand endorser because like me, she seems to be very hands-on to her children, she looks very happy with her family life, and as she said in the event, she really cooks for them. I can imagine how her two boys love the new fried chicken flavors of Crispy Fry. Donna mentioned that her boys love chicken tenders and my girls love chicken tenders too!

After Donna’s short introduction, we had a great time using the trampoline park which was exclusively rented by Ajinomoto for the attendees. Playing at the park was fun and I didn’t expect how springy those trampolines were. I mean you can literally bounce up for a few feet. Good thing that before we entered the trampoline park, there was an orientation on how we are supposed to play and what not to do because seriously, you can hurt yourself if you do not follow the guidelines. We jumped and jumped, took photos and videos, and had fun with the colorful foam blocks. It was a memorable experience for the three of us and we thought it will be a good idea to come back next time, with their dad.

After an hour of jumping, we were all hungry and Ajinomoto expected that already! We went straight upstairs for a cooking demo by Ajinomoto’s resident chef, Jeffrey Chang and some helpful tips for moms on how to deal with their picky eaters by Ms. Sofia Conejos, Culinary Networking and Communication Manager of Ajinomoto. Then the food! We had a lot of fried chicken (chicken bites with the different Crispy Fry flavors, fried chicken cooked with the original Crispy Fry breading, pizza and ice cream from Yellow Cab!

Before we went home, Ajinomoto gave us gift packs which contain more Crispy Fry flavor mixes and Ajinomoto products to use at home and Crispy Fry pillows, yey!

Ajinomoto truly knows how to run a family event and surely how to make family life more fun through their pampasarap and pampalinamnam products. I’m sure more families will now enjoy bonding with their kids during eating time with more deliciously flavored food.
