As the value of our money is getting smaller and smaller, the harder it is to budget especially when it comes to shopping our groceries. We are only four in the family and yet, it’s always a challenge to keep our groceries in check. What more if you have a bigger family, say 5-10 people? That’s why when I heard about Super8 Funfest happening again this April 26-28, I got so excited! Last time I attended a Super8 event (Super8 Funfest 2016) the event was filled with shoppers, prizes and celebrities and it was fun!

The good news is, this year’s Funfest will even be grander and much bigger than ever. How did I know that? I’ve had a preview today as I went grocery shopping in the Super8 Grocery Warehouse Commonwealth Villonco branch. If you live near Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, this branch will be very accessible to you. To find Super8 Grocery Villonco Commonwealth, find the Jollibee branch along Commonwealth Avenue near the market, and close to that is Super8. The branch is not very visible but all people in the vicinity knows about the store so you can just ask.

I had a great time shopping today not only because the store manager and the staff were accommodating but also because I know I was able to get the best value out of my money. For a P2,000 budget, I was able to shop a lot! The manager gave me a catalog full of Funfest deals which can already be availed in the store, like Buy 10-Get 1 Free, Buy 3-Free-1, 5% discount on Try Me products, and reward points promos for over 500 participating items. No wonder there’s a lot of wholesalers and resellers shopping here. If you have a sari-sari store or buying in bulk, kikita ka talaga with all these promos.

But Super8 Grocery is not only for business or sari-sari store owners. They are also for regular retail buyers like us moms. It does help that Super8 has a lot of branches to choose from. The stores may be not that big but they contain the most essential items we need at home, including medicines and milk. The rewards card of Super8 is also something and it offers a lot more when I compare it to other rewards card I have in my wallet.

1. Super8 Grocery has an app which is linked to the card so even if you forgot to bring your card, you can still get reward points when you shop. The cashier will just need to scan the barcode in your app.
2. The reward point system gives more bonuses other than the usual P200=1 point system. For example, in Super8Funfes2018, you automatically get P25 for every P500 single receipt purchase.
3. You’ll also get raffle coupons via your rewards card and app and you don’t even have to worry that you’ll love any raffle stub. The raffle coupon is automatically being encoded in the app and you just have to check your app and card to know if you won.
