Gelatin Easter Egg Delights

I’ve been indulging myself with gelatin desserts lately, because I can make them in seconds, I can control the sweetness, I can add any fruits that I want, and they are perfect to quench the summer heat.

And because it will be Easter tomorrow, why not make frozen, cold, and sweet gelatin Easter eggs? Their colors made me excited and I know the kids will enjoy the fruity and milky flavors that I’m going to make.

I didn’t have egg molds so I used the plastic easter egg toys from Toy Kingdom which I kept in the cupboard. I’ve asked my husband to bore some holes on top of each of the eggs then I cleaned them thoroughly by washing with soap and dipping in hot water for a couple of minutes.

I have boxes of Mr. Hat Gulaman with different flavors so I was able to make several eggs with strawberry flavor, mango, lychee (my favorite), orange and grapes.

You can just follow the directions in the box on how to make your gelatin. I usually add milk on my gelatin to make the flavor creamy and also to make it nutritious at the same time. Sometimes, when I make gelatin, I also add nata de coco or sometimes, fresh fruit bits. Fresh strawberries, mangoes and lychees, if you have them will certainly make your gelatin more special though Mr. Hat Gulaman’s fruit flavors taste so real already.

I hope you enjoy this idea and may you have a joyful Easter with your family!
