If you feel like filling up your day with love and hearts, here’s a sweet gelatinous treat that you can try to make at home. It’s so easy you can enjoy making this even with little kids!
Ingredients
- 1 sachet Mr. Hat Gulaman red
- 1 sachet Mr. Hat Gulaman white
- 2 tablespoon clear vanilla flavoring
- 4-5 tbsp refined sugar
- 1.5 cup evaporated milk
- 3 cups
- 1 square tray 8x8 inches
- heart-shaped cookie cutters
Instructions
- Prepare white gulaman by mixing 1 sachet Mr. Hat Gulaman white in 2 cups water
- Mix 1 cup evaporated milk and 3 tbsp sugar
- Let the mixture boil and using a strainer, strain the mixture into the square tray
- Let it cool and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes until the gelatin hardens
- When the white gelatin is hard enough, use your cookie cutters to cut hearts out from the gelatin.
- Make the red gelatin mixture by combining 1 cup water and 1/2 cup evaporated milk, 1 tbsp sugar and 1/2 pack Mr Hat Gulaman red
- Let the mixture boil. When cool enough, spoon the red gulaman liquid to the heart cutouts on the white gelatin.
- Let the gelatin cool and cut into squares.
