We were planning to go to Art In Island for such a long time but budget and availability became an issue so we had to put it as one of our to-dos on the later part of the year. But God is always good and He blessed us with the opportunity to go to this exciting place in such a perfect time. Jolly Cow, one of the first brands developed by Fly Ace Corporation, had included us on its “Jolly Cow Mom and Kid’s Day Out” which was a whole day treat for selected moms and their kids. The program included a visit to Art In Island,...

It had always been our plan to see Yexel’s Toy Museum in Las Piñas but the place is just too far from us. When we saw one of my husband’s cousins shared their photos they got at Yexel’s in Manila Ocean Park, we decided to go and visit this instead of the one in Las Las Piñas. We also decided to bring with us my in-laws who are as groovy as us when it comes to traveling and taking fun photo shots. So off we went one Sunday morning. We attended the Sunday mass first to start the day right then afterwards, we were still...

This is the second in the series of blog posts for our staycation at The Linden Suites. More photos and experiences from our stay at The Linden Suites A separate room for mom and dad. Bathroom Each of the room has its own bathroom, both has its own bathtub. Buffet Breakfast At Mesclun It seemed that the other guests of the hotel had been exhausted with the pool the other night, we have the restaurant almost all by ourselves in the morning.   Mom, Dad and Hubby checking out the warmers. As far as I remember, there were fried rice, longganisa,...

Every summer vacation, if budget allows it, our family picks a hotel where we would want to spend a night and try the pool. We had stayed on several hotels already and from experience, we can amply say that Manila indeed have nice hotels and most of them are family friendly. Last Mother’s Day, it was quite a unique experience because for the first time, well here in the Philippines, we have stayed overnight in a hotel with my mom and dad in law. The Linden Suites sponsored an overnight stay for the heads of Mommy Bloggers Philippines...

More photos and experiences from our stay at The Linden Suites On our way to the pool at The Linden Suites. We were at the 23rd floor while the pool was on the 9th floor. What’s great at The Linden Suites is that elevator cards are restricted to your floor. You can’t go to the other floors where you don’t stay unless you request access from the lobby. This means the hotel is keen to the security of their guests. Loved the jacuzzi! Water here is much warmer than in the pool but its tolerable and has that soothing effect...

I was looking at our photos this morning and I saw our photos on our last trip to Baguio and since it’s summer and vacation months again, I am happy to share my memories with this humble and yet cozy and affordable Holiday Park Hotel. We’ve been here twice already and with the nice treatment we got when we checked in there, I think it’s just right to give them some space in my blog. Holiday Park Hotel is just the perfect hotel for a small family like us. It’s a minute away from Victory Liner bus station (if you...
