My youngest who was all smiles because she will be singing that day during the program and her prize will be a Furby Boom from Toy Kingdom.

My dad in law who supported us by bringing his ride over, helped us carry the boxes from the sponsors, and took videos of the event. He enjoyed the event very much as he told us, and he even helped on giving treats during the trick or treat part.

Today, while I am writing this blog, I can just simply say that the party was meant to be a success. First, as I always do, I pray to the Lord to give me signs when I need to push through with some decisions and He always answered positively, speaking for this party. The member moms had been very supportive and one by one, volunteer helpers had come along the way. The sponsors also started emailing. Imagine, 27 sponsors in more than a month of preparation. It was so heartwarming to think that all these people were delighted to be with us on our community’s first blog party.

Look at this list of sponsors and you tell me who wouldn’t have a grand party with these people supporting us? We all feel loved not to mention that all these brands were really the moms and the kids’ favorites.

For me, as I’ve said on my opening speech, it was actually not about celebrating Halloween and the ghouls and spirits per se, but it was the opportunity to be together, have fun with our peers, and with our families especially our children. Blogging is something that is meant to be shared so why not take it to the next level, meet personally and know the faces behind the amazing mommy blogs we follow?

Here’s a video presentation from Mommy Bloggers Philippines that I am proud to share. If you are a mom and you still don’t have a blog, why not try having one? It’s a wonderful passion to be introduced to, a great avenue to show your writing skills, and an exciting opportunity to interact with like-minded moms who love their families.

Check out Mommy Bloggers Philippines and join the fun!

Until now I can’t get over of the happiness and success of our first event. Even more proud to be part of the commitee. I honor you Mommy Lani for being our Leader and to other Moms who supported the event. Most especially to our Sponsors, thank you so much!. I’m now excited on our next event!

This was the best Halloween event I had ever joined. The mere fact that the sponsors were so generous was overwhelming and since we came from one community, everyone enjoyed. It was nice to finally meet the mommy bloggers in person and the kids behind the moms. This is definitely a next event to look forward to! Congrats Lani on the success, and I am honored to part of your committee. ‘Till next event!
