I’ve just read SmartParenting’s latest 100 Things To Do With Your Child This Summer and I was obliged to check what we have done so far. I mean, it’s not a necessity to do everything because it’s vacation but I felt, the kids deserve to have more time with us, their moms and dads at least this two months. When they go to school again this school year, we only have weekends to do things together. Next year will also be more hectic with my eldest graduating in elementary and taking entrance exams.
Just so happy that out of 100 from the list, we can still do at least 22. I’ve tweaked the list a little bit, picking those which will be realistic in terms of our location, our budget and our likes, and you know, I got excited knowing about these potential activities. Here, take a look, and you might get interested as well:
- eat wacky ice cream flavor (popcorn ice cream baskin robbins)

We’ve actually been focused on DIY craft projects at home. Would love to do outdoorsy stuff but being a hands on mom to 3 kids, 2 being toddlers is a bit of a challenge. Indoor activities is the only choice for us right now. Science experiments check, oh and we’ve already started a vegetable garden to teach the kids about sustainability. Heading to Smart Parenting’s 100 things to do with your child this summer now, just to see the complete list. This is fun.
Don;t have kids of my own, but what my nephews and niece did during the Christmas vacation was make silly videos of them singing, dancing, and acting out some movies. Then we’d play them over and over and laugh and laugh and laugh. So much fun!
Since I have three girls, we love fixing and styling each others hair, trying out new hairstyles which we discover from the internet.
So far we only have few lists that me and MM do with our summer. Since beach is a walking distance from our house, we have our strolling after naptime. 🙂
