We’ve recently discovered a new cafe ( I am not sure how new it is though since we haven’t been to Promenade for a long time ) and it’s called Aquatica Cafe. It’s located in ground floor of Promenade in Greenhills. Greenhills is my husband’s candyland of StarWars toys.
I was just so delighted to find this cafe because it was quite unique because of the beautiful aquariums inside the cafe. I’ve learned from the reviews that this is a cafe / store of beta fishes (fighting fishes). I searched about fighting fishes out of curiosity and found out that these types of fishes are those which prefer to be alone, unlike those in schools of fishes. They will fight each other if they are contained in one aquarium.
Aquatica Cafe is a comfortable place to have coffee and it has soft sofas good for the four of us. Although we did not have a chance to try their coffee at that time, their cakes looked nice inside the shelf. My girls became too busy checking out the fishes. The cafe doesn’t have that fishy smell unlike in other fish stores we have visited. The aquariums look nice and they have the calming effect on me. I always wish to have an aquarium at home but they are just too high maintenance. With the kids too busy at school and us at work, any fish won’t survive. Our pet schitzu Chewie is lucky to adapt to our lifestyle because we just ignore him most of the time. It’s a cruel world in our home for pets.
It was awesome to see Dory in actual. She is a blue tang fish and I found out that her tails are actually venomous. So much about finding her vulnerable because of her forgetfulness in the film Finding Dory. We also saw Nemo, a clown fish, and he is smaller than we thought. Fishes are just so amazing, right! They remind us how great our Creator is for being intelligent being able to come up with all these small but unique creatures.
Next time we visit, we’ll share how their food and coffee tastes like. Or just maybe visit it if you have time. Promenade is a cool spot to visit especially the Cinema.

My son loves fish! I would really would love to take him there one day, I’m sure it would relax him. 🙂
will visit this cafe the soonest 🙂 we are avid snorkelers and lovers of marine life 🙂
Good to know that there is no fishy smell, that is one thing na ayaw ko pag kumakain. hehehe!
My husband used to have a fighting fish as pet! Low maintenance lang sya since nasa fish bowl lang naman hehehe! Medyo mahirap nga lang kapag if you’ll try to breed them hehe! We tried that and we did not succeed hehe. Anyway I think the cafe is unique and nice! My little girl would love it there! And good thing walang fishy smell! 😉
yes, i was surprised about that, wala talaga syang amoy 🙂
What a cute cafe indeed! My husband loves fishes so much he gets mesmerized by them in an instant. Would love to bring my daughter here too! 🙂
I haven’t been to Greenhills for a very long time. This looks like a good place to bring my son to. I think he will enjoy watching the fishes 🙂
Nice! My SIL’s husband has an aquarium at home that uses salt water so it has Dory and Nemo. May payat na hipon rin, haha. But my favorite is yung mga corals and plants. Ang ganda! As in. I’m sure my SIL’s family will enjoy there kasi mahilig sila sa ganyan. 🙂
Uy just how unique and awesome is this idea?! I’m sure my boy would love this place as he likes animals. Adding it to my must-visit list!
Nice touch for the restau! I hope the fishes are taken care of properly, though. 🙂
This is amazing! I just recently wrote about a cat cafe, and now I’m discovering a fish cafe! Will put it on my bucket list for our next visit! 🙂
This is an awesome place, saktong sakto sa release ng movie. My jaw dropped when I read about Dory’s tail! hehe.
I would love to visit this place. My husband had this passion with fishes.
Ganda ng place nice to visit my little kulit would love this place
Tamang tama itong cafe na ito para kay Enzo. Maaaliw siya while we eat hihi, kaso medyo malayo ang greenhills sa amin. huhu. I’ll wait for your blogpost about their menu:)
I’d love to take my kids here! I’ve been looking for a venue for a mini field trip for our little homeschooler but it has to be some place that will not involve a lot of walking around for me since I’m already 7.5 mos pregnant. This looks promising. 🙂
medyo short ito for the walking around part hehe
hahaha i made untog my head on one of the aquariums here during one of our many visit trying to look for a fish! hahaha, food is good and cheap!
talaga, will make sure to try their food next time 🙂
We’re near Greenhills, but we don’t usually frequent the area. We’ll check out this cafe on our next trip to Promenade.
My kids will love it here 🙂 I’ll check this out when I’m in the area. Thanks for sharing this 🙂
