Staying in The B Hotel made me appreciate other hotel reviews that bloggers and hotel reviewers write online. They definitely helped us when we were still searching for a place to stay that is very near at home within Quezon City. B Hotel was a great find. Let me tell you some of the reasons why.

Location

Aside from it’s within Quezon City, it’s also in the middle of the most important establishments in QC – it’s walking distance to St Paul Church, a few blocks away from National Bookstore and Robinsons Supermarket, and then Tomas Morato which is proliferated with great bars and restaurants. If you want to go malling, it’s only a few kilometers away from Fisher Mall, SM North, Vertis North and TriNoma.

Parking

The hotel has a huge underground parking. Actually, the hotel itself is a bit inconspicuous if not for the letter b (for b hotel) on the top of its building. Drop-off is at the back of the building and if you want to go directly to the lobby, you’ll enter a simple entrance at the front of the building.

Room

We got a superior room with twin beds including breakfast for 2 for around P4,000. The twin beds are still good enough for the four of us though it would have been better for families with much smaller kids. My kids have their own beds at home so they are used to having the bed by themselves. Nevertheless, the beds were soft and the airconditioner made sleeping much better.

Amenities

What sets B Hotel from other hotels we stayed in is its theme. The hotel uses a mix of modern and industrial themed colors and furniture in the room : black, gray, white,  and some red. The unpainted cement on the walls and the ceiling made the room feel much colder. In the superior room, there’s no bath tub and the shower room (wet area) is separated from the toilet. I like that it has rain shower head and a bidet in the toilet. The sink is placed out of the bathroom but it’s amusing that it didn’t feel awkward to have it this way. It was actually more practical since you can already wash your hand or brush your teeth without going to the toilet (just like at home)

Food

Just like in any hotel, food can be catered to the room when you order in their menu but you can also eat at the hotel’s dining area. I wasn’t able to review their menu since we did not plan on eating there except on breakfast. For lunch, we ate at the nearby Icebergs restaurant, and for dinner, my husband and the kids ordered for KFC while I had dinner at MBP Christmas Party.

Buffet breakfast was great. We had to pay P450 for the kids breakfast so we could all go together. Their buffet breakfast was not that grand but we enjoyed them all. My kids liked the taho while I enjoyed eating the tapa, tocino, warm soup, bread and some cheese.

Cafe inside The B Hotel

Cafe inside The B Hotel – you can order here for some hot/cold coffee or frappe, cakes and pastries and bring it to the more comfy tables and chairs in the lounge. During the night, hubby and I had some refreshments while listening to a live performer.

Swimming Pool

The pool was average sized but looked inviting. Too bad the girls just had their periods and so we all skipped swimming. We imagined it will be a great escapade to visit the pool again when summer time comes.

In general, B Hotel is a great hotel, may be average in appearance but it is complete, the beds are satisfactory, the bathroom, furniture and tv were good, the staff were all friendly, but most importantly, we feel comfortable of the location because everything we need can be just a few walks away. When you are traveling for business and your meetings will be within QC, we do recommend this place.

I was able to book this hotel using Booking.com and I liked it because I didn’t have to pay in advance to reserve the rooms. If you are planning to book your room, you can book here to get a 10% refund.

Attended an event at B Hotel a few weeks back and I also love the location. Haven’t tried using booking.com locally but I do have nice experience using it when reserving hotel rooms abroad.

I don’t find it average at all. It looks nice from where I’m standing. I even love the dimness of the lobby and the looks of the beds. Parang ang sarap magstay jan.

I agree with May – it doesn’t look average at all! The industrial look is a hit or miss, but I think they nailed it. Will definitely consider this option!

I have to agree with you, the hotel looks stylish. Siguro my idea of a lavish hotel are for those who have plushy beds and furniture with thick cushions haha.

This is super near me but I’ve actually never been here. Looks nice and cozy! I wonder how their lunch and dinner buffets are.

see through bathroom??? same with Azumi Boutique Hotel in Alabang. The room in BHotel here in Alabang naman looks bigger but unfortunately compared to QC walang pool dito, dadalhin pa sa Bellevue ang guests para mag pool.
