This crispy fried fish dish will be loved by everyone at home, including the kids. Tried and tested! May it be Lent or not, for lunch, dinner or just for snacking, you can serve this pan-fried dory and you won’t have enough of it, promise.
I suggest dory fish fillet and not any other fish since I find fresh dory as delicious, cheaper than any other fish, and quick to cook.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg of dory fish fillet sliced (fingers)
3 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup breadcrumbs
salt and pepper
lemon wedges
canola oil for frying
Instructions:
Let the cooking oil warm up on your pan
Whisk the eggs
Season sliced fish fillet with salt and pepper
Dredge each fish fillet piece to egg, then flour, then egg again, then breadcrumbs
Fry each fish fillet till breadcrumbs is golden brown
Serve warm with lemon wedges
Before you eat your crispy fish, put some lemon on it and some salt. This will be a delicious alternative to catsup or mayonnaise. You can also eat them as they are, without any dips.
