Stop The Spread Of Head Lice – Support Kilusang Kontra Kuto (KKK) Year 3

According to a study conducted by the Department of Education and the University of the Philippines, it is considered as the second most common health problem in public schools in the Philippines next to tooth decay. Despite this fact, it is surprising that most Filipinos still ignore it. Nobody likes head lice but still, almost all children I know got head lice or had some point to have had head lice. It’s like as if we all totally lost hope that this condition will ever be solved.

From personal experience, I know why head lice is not something that should not be underestimated or ignored. As I have daughters who are secondary level, I always have Licealiz in my cabinet. Head lice infestation doesn’t happen only to little kids but to older kids as well. Actually, I found out from the short talk at the KKK Kickoff Ceremony held at Bagong Silangan Elementary School, adults who are ages 21-35 are most prone to have kuto.  Every household should have a bottle of Licealiz as long as the infestation is there. We really can’t totally get rid of head lice if not everyone will cooperate.
