In every Filipino household, eggs and chicken are considered staple food, next to rice or bread. What better way to show appreciation to these humble foods than by having one day in a year celebrating eggs and chicken! And because I am an egg and chicken lover myself, I made sure that I’d be present in the World Chicken And Egg Day hosted by Bounty Fresh at Trinoma.
Before the event happened, Bounty Fresh promoted its very own Egg and Chickenovela, featuring Chicky, Bounty Fresh mascot and icon. She laid an egg and lost it. A public announcement made by bloggers and influencers made so much noise about this missing egg and the grand reveal was made during the World Chicken and Egg Day. The egg came with a whopping P100,000 raffle prize for everyone at the event.
One of the highlights of the event is the P20 sale of chicken and egg. Yes, you’ve read it correctly, P20 for a dozen egg or a whole chicken or other frozen goods. Too bad I wasn’t able to wait for the buzzer light to buy something for myself.
When it comes to egg, we always buy Bounty Fresh in all honesty. Previously, I let my husband choose eggs that are of different brand but we often find “bugok”. Bounty Fresh eggs are always clean and the packaging is very clean too. When we found out about their native, brown eggs, those hatched by free-range chicken, we now buy them instead. The yolks are big, and so orangey and delicious. Bounty Fresh chicken are meaty and clean tasting as well because Bounty Fresh use state-of-the-art, ISO certified technology and processes.
So see you on the next World Chicken and Egg Day! Follow Bounty Fresh FB page to make sure that you do not miss any of their promos and events!
20 pesos for a dozen eggs, wow! This is such a fun event, may pa-shopping pa! I love! 🙂
seryoso? bente pesos for a dozen of egg? kakaloka yan
To be honest, I prefer Bounty Fresh over Magnolia. Mas masarap yung chicken nila for me 🙂 Oh, and I’m jealous with your loot :))
What a very nice event this was! I love their eggs too because the yolk is so orange! These days, it pays to go for premium chicken and eggs because there are reports of hormones being injected in them. 🙁
we always buy Bountry Fresh, may it be the chicken or the eggs. We also discovered ready to cook meals by Bounty Fresh which my school boys love.
I find this WOrld Chicken and Egg Day Celebration fun and also i salute Bounty Fresh for being so generous to its customers.
Nahanap na yung eggs ni Chickie? hahahaha.. Dami ko nakikita sa FB nyan.
Wow! We try to stay away from poultry products because our family has very sensitive skin – hahaha – but what a steal! 20pesos for a dozen!
I’m also an “egg” person. For me, breakfast is never complete without an egg – cooked in every way possible. Wish I could be a part of these events, too, in the future <3.
It was so great seeing you during the event! Ang saya no? Hahaha I ate a lot of those free Japanese omelettes
ay bat di ko na try yun? haha
