National Book Store’s Grand Back To School Fair started Friday and ends on
Bigger Venue
Though this year’s venue was a bit farther than last year, it was better because of the big venue which means more spaces and more brand participants. There were enough space for everyone and we could freely check the items we wanted without bumping on each other. Glorietta is such a nice mall also with nice boutiques and restaurants to roam around after we shop in NBS. My daughter and I had fun shopping for their school supplies and eat out and go window shopping for some clothes after.
More Choices
I noticed how varied the school supplies are in this year’s fair. I’ve seen more choices when it comes to pens, coloring materials, papers, bags, lunch boxes and other kinds of school supplies we usually search for. Aside from the usual, I’ve also seen that there are items that we haven’t seen in NBS before (or noticed) like socks and toiletry sets for kids.
More Visible Stocks
NBS knows how busy most shoppers are, especially moms, so they got more labels, bigger labels actually for each category of school supplies. You can easily see where the supplies are for elementary, high-school and college students.
Some zones were even color coded. The red sub-zone is for convenience, offering the essential supplies as well as packs and bundles. The blue sub-zone is for quality, offering the top brands from all categories. And finally, the green zone is for value for money, offering items and deals for the budget-conscious shopper.
Bundles, Freebies and Promos
The most exciting part of this year’s NBS Grand Back To School Fair are the opportunities to save so much because of the discounted prices, gain back by joining the promos and chances to win from the raffle, and then give back to underprivileged students.
The Grab & Go packs are sets of school supplies that students put inside their bags altogether. You can save time because you have all the basics in there inside a sturdy wallet or I call it a wristlet, and you save money also because you basically buy in bulk.
Example:
Grades1-3 Grab & Go Pack for P155 = 3 pencils, 1 pair of scissors, 1 box of crayons, 1 white glue, 1 sharpener, 1 eraser
Grades 4-6 Grab & Go Pack for P175 = 3
If you buy these supplies per item, you’ll definitely pay for more.
For every P300 single-receipt transaction, you can buy a
National Book Store has also been so generous in this year’s prizes.
P90,000 worth of raffle prizes
30 winners of P1,000 worth school supplies
6 winners of P5,000 NBS GC
3 winners of P10,000 NBS GC
All around the shopping area, you can join promos by participating brands where you can get freebies and win prizes. Their promos are fun!
