Guiltless Brownies

Making kids stay at home without craving for unhealthy food can be daunting for some of us. To make it worse, even the parents find situations like an outbreak so unnerving that we also crave for comfort food. So I thought of baking a jar of brownies that contain less sugar. My secret, a pack of sugar-free Hersheys chocolate chips.

Guiltless Brownies Recipe

2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp water
1 1/2 cups sugar free chocolates
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Combine butter, sugar and water in a sauce pan. Cook until sugar and butter are melted boiling. When bubble starts to form, remove from heat. Add in chocolate chips and stir until chocolates are completely melted and smooth. Add in dry ingredients flour, baking soda and salt. Add beaten eggs last. Mix everything together and then spread evenly in a baking pan (8×8)

Add in chopped nuts if desired before baking. Don’t overbake as brownies can easily be burned on top.

Hey! This is probably the easiest recipe of brownie I have come across! Can I use wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour?

I haven’t tried but maybe so. Just note that sugarless chocolate chips make the brownies less sweet, and I think using wheat flour will make it even more so.
