Are you up for some quick recipe for mini Halloween donuts?

Even if we are still stuck at home, it will not stop us from having fun during Halloween. So I made these super cute and yummy mini Halloween donuts using pancake mix Vitamilk Original and Double Choco Shake flavors.

Recipe - Mini Halloween Donuts

Yes, pancake mix. I use it whenever I need quick treats like these, as I don’t have to measure anymore and make a mess on my table. All our tables these days are occupied, with the kids online schooling. Our internet provider is down (again) and we all go around each corner of our house to find a spot where the internet signal works fine.

Ingredients

1 pack 250g pancake mix (any brand of your choice)
1 cup Vitamilk Original
1 cup Vitamilk Double Choco Shake
1 cup white chocolate buttons for baking
1 cup milk or cark chocolate buttons for baking
1 cup powdered sugar for sugar glaze
3 tbsp sugar ( you can skip this if you don’t want your donuts to be sweet)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F while preparing pancake mix
  2. Prepare the pancake mix batter according to packaging instructions.
Instead of water, use Vitamilk Original.
  3. Use a mini-donut baking pan and pour the pancake mix.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the donuts are done. Remove from the oven and let them cool before decorating.
  5. Separate 1 cup of white chocolate buttons to 2 portions. Do the same with the chocolate buttons.
  6. Melt the white chocolate with 2-3 tbsp of Vitamilk in the microwave. Do the same with the milk or dark chocolate buttons but using Vitamilk Double Choco Shake.
  7. Prepare the orange dipping by adding orange food coloring in melted white chocolate.
  8. Prepare the green dipping by adding green orange food coloring into the melted white chocolate.
  9. Use a toothpick in adding your food coloring and just add more until you get the desired shade.
  10. Add two tablespoons of Vitamilk Original to powdered sugar to make the sugar glaze.
  11. Dip the donuts on your desired chocolate dips and use orange sprinkles, crushed Oreos as toppings. Use the powdered sugar glaze and melted chocolate to pipe decorations on your donuts.
