A Memorable Animal Encounter at Yoki’s Farm

Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting Yoki’s Farm for an animal encounter, and it turned out to be a fun-filled day. We initially thought to visit a museum or a different zoo that day but we were fortunate that my husband discovered this farm and that we with his instinct. His primary reason for choosing this place? It’s parking space. Yoki has a huge parking space at the entrance and my husband wanted our car and our travel luggage in there because we haven’t checked in yet at the hotel. He planned this out carefully and we were all glad that he did.

At first, I thought the entrance fee of 900 per person for the animal encounter was a bit steep, but by the end of our tour, we felt that it was just worth it.

The weather was perfect that day and we were there early so the sun was still not that hot. Compared to our visit to the Singapore Zoo, Yoki’s Farm may be smaller in scale, but the level of interaction and the fun we had was unmatched.

We had the opportunity to feed rabbits, zebras, and monkeys, and we were amazed by the numerous bird species. Walking into an enclosure with ostriches, guinea fowls, and horses was a first for us, and it was truly thrilling. The excitement of seeing these animals up close and interacting with them was a unique experience that we will cherish.

Yoki’s Farm also housed wild animals like pythons, tarantulas, chameleons, and capybaras, creatures we usually only see on TV. The farm’s cleanliness stood out; the animal cages were well-maintained, and there was minimal odor, making our visit even more pleasant.

Given that it’s the rainy season, we were lucky to complete our tour by lunchtime before the rain started. The on-site canteen provided a clean and comfortable space for us to enjoy our meal, and the well-maintained restrooms were a bonus.

Throughout our visit, a tour guide accompanied us, which I believe was essential. The guide helped ensure that the animals were not stressed by unruly visitors and that feeding and touching were done appropriately.

We highly recommend a visit to Yoki’s Farm. Although we prefer seeing animals in their natural habitats, zoos like this one allow us to interact with these wonderful creatures up close in a safe and educational environment. The dedication of the owners and pet caretakers is evident, and their efforts are truly a blessing. We look forward to seeing more animals added to this wonderful farm in the future.

Yoki’s Farm is in Tabluan Road, Mendez, Cavite. Check out my social media to watch some of the videos we took while inside the farm.
