Watching movies is one of our favorite pastimes as a family. Ever since my kids were old enough to go to the cinema, we’ve watched every animated film, Marvel and Star Wars films that were shown. I guess now, we are about to watch even more.
At the Opening Ceremony of the unveiling of SM Cinema Fairview
Just this week, SM Cinema had just opened its seven new theaters in SM Fairview. We were lucky to be invited to the launch of the SM Cinema Fairview and screening of Frozen 2. It was a star-studded event that was attended by Cong. Alfred Vargas and family, and celebrities such as Mark Anthony Fernandez, Richard Gutierrez, and Angelica Panganiban.
SM Cinema obviously did not hold back from the upgrades they made at SM Fairview. SM Cinema Fairview is now home to two premium Director’s Club Cinema, a Large Screen Format theater, and five state-of-the-art regular cinemas. Wow!

Premium Cinema Experience
Inside the Director’s Club, are top-of-the-line fully reclining Verona chairs complete with head and foot-rests. The seating capacity is 50.Seats are integrated with side tables, lighting, cup holders and charging ports. Inside the regular cinemas are premium Opus Glide seats that slide to your preferred semi-reclining angle to find the best position for optimal vista. Opus Glide seats’ super-soft fibers provide comfortable seating while handling bodyweight for back support.
Director’s Club offers in-cinema butler service. With an easy click of a button, cinema staff can bring you anything you need from Snack Time, the official food concessionaire of SM Cinema.
Got a preview of the upcoming Star Wars film! Excited! Moviegoers can enjoy true-to-life pictures with SM Cinema Fairview’s theaters that are all equipped with state-of-the-art Christie CP42LH RGB laser cinema projectors. With SM Cinema Fairview has upgraded its audio system to Dolby Surround Sound. And with this upgrade SM Cinema guarantees that viewers fully immerse themselves in movies’ dialogues, OSTs and musical scoring. No matter where you are seated in the theater you are sure to get pure, crisp and reverberating sound since the theaters’ front back and side walls are fitted with powerful Dolby speakers.Movie tickets are inclusive of a tumbler of popcorn and bottled water. Sweet cuddles with your date inside the cinema with these sweets, tictac, and fleece blanket available for purchase.
If you wish to feast in the cinema, Snack Time offers a special movie munchie menu which includes wine and cheese pairings.
Outside the cinema are comfy seats and tables to chitchat or wait if you get earlier than the cinema time.

Wow.. Those seats are so fantastic..! I love the features of it. Opus glide sounds really nice, it’s watching experience would be overwhelming. Love it. 😘

This is such a beautiful cinema, it’s big and the chairs and even the place gives you a lot of comfortable feeling while watching your favorite movie.
Now cinemas have come to the point where they have to offer like-in-home experiences to watch a movie. Love it!
