Making pizza at home has never been easier for me since I discovered Arla Mozzarella cheese. Last pizza I was able to taste was the Steveston Pizza at UPTC but after that, we did not have the chance to go out and dine in in a pizza parlor due to schedule and budget constraints. Arla recently sent me a sample of the different products they have and when I saw the mozzarella cheese, I immediately thought it’s time for  us to give in to our pizza craving. There was no time to go out for grocery so I had to make do with what I have...

I think every second child that I know have already eaten KoKoKrunch. And we moms know why. It’s crunchy, chocolatey and perfect to combine with milk. And who can ever forget KoKo the famous Koala we see on TV? I grew up seeing KoKo and the animated tv commercials. It’s not only the kids who love KoKoKrunch at home, but we adults too. And it’s great to know that aside from the chocolatey taste, this breakfast cereal gives us more. 4 steps how  Koko Krunch is being made Look at all these vitamins you get when you eat...

This blog post is dedicated to my daughter who will officially be a “teen” this year. I know that once she reads this post, she’ll be shy. I understand and I respect that she may not be that comfortable being the subject of a blog. But I am just too happy to take this opportunity to tell her how proud we are of her accomplishments as a student, as a friend and as a daughter. She’ll be turning 13 before the end of the year, and what better way to end the tween phase of her life and celebrate the start of her teenhood...

Apart from milk fish (bangus), cream dory is my family’s favorite. And because it is always available in the supermarket and relatively affordable (depends on the brand), it’s also my favorite to cook.  For me, it has a unique taste but it’s very subtle that you can easily mix it to different ingredients, and make different kinds of meals. It’s also easy to cook. You can steam it, coat and fry it or fry it as it is. But what about the nutrients, what do we get from cream dory ? You’ll see the nutrient content...

We’ve been wanting to try Steveston Pizza in UP  Town Center since we first stepped in this mall. Not only because the restaurant’s name is similar to my husbands’ but also because we wanted to try something new. Finally, a chance to sample Steveston came and the experience was so delightful I know I had to share it. Reminiscing the flavors we tried last time as I write this blog post makes me crave and plan to go back very soon. My Steveston pizza experience was so delightful I had to share this review. Steveston Pizza...

Being a work at home / full time mom is enough to make me live a full day every day. I’m lucky to be able to sleep for six hours. I’m not complaining though. God is good and life is great because I get to see my family as much as I want to. But although my spirit strong, my flesh can sometimes be weak. You know, I get sleepy too during the day. Imagine we need to be awake by 4AM and we can only sleep at night earliest 10PM. Coffee is my companion during the day and it gives me that extra boost to stay energetic as I juggle...

Having the kids eat breakfast very early in the morning was a daily feat for me. I tried different strategies just to avoid me nagging on them daily to have something to eat before going to school. Some of my strategies which all FAILED were : 1. Cooking their favorite food (you know how kids are, they love hotdogs and chicken and nuggets) – BUT they can’t just eat these kinds of food everyday so I had to find another way. 2. Open the tv while they eat – I thought this will make them stay at the table and eat. What happened...
