Before the first work week of January ends, I’d like to celebrate in my blog my 100th review in Zomato! I am just so happy to achieve this because I believe in myself that with more than 240,000 review reads and more than 1Million views on my posted photos, I was able to contribute valuable information to my readers, at least in learning good restaurant alternatives. I am not a food blogger and I seldom attend food blogging events but I enjoy writing (short as they may be) about my family’s food trips no matter how simple the...

This restaurant had been open for a while in Ayala Fairview Terraces but we had just tried it out recently, mainly because it’s beside Yoshinoya where we usually eat. When you are with the kids, you tend to choose restaurants which are familiar to you, you know, to be safe. Update as of January 2, 2017 : This restaurant had already closed in FT. But they still have the following branches open: GF, The Block SM North Edsa Lower Ground Floor, Robinsons Magnolia GF Robinsons Place Malolos And since it was a school day, and no kids...
Getting complimentary VIP tickets for the last Disney On Ice show was a dream come true for me especially the kids. Last year, we got to watch Disney On Ice 2014 on upper box seats worth P600. We totally enjoyed the show but I’ve wished we were much closer because my eyes aren’t that clear anymore. Up there, the characters’ faces were already blurred for me, and the dancing figures were a bit tiny. The kids’ visions are still perfect and so they still enjoyed the show and didn’t ask for more. VIP Tickets this...
This year and in the years forward, being active and healthy are just two of the most important goals which we should strive for. I know I’ve gained a lot of weight lately and I admit that I have not been the best role model for my kids. But when it comes to good health, it will never be late to get on your feet and start again. So I’ve started this year by sharing a FREE printable monthly health calendar filled with daily tips to keep us conscious of our bodies and physical activities. You won’t need another mom at your...
If there’s a party I wouldn’t miss every year, that will be Mommy Bloggers Philippines’ Christmas Party. It’s now on it’s 2nd year and though there had been a lot of newer faces this year, it was still an amazing night to know more amazing moms who blog like me. My favorite part of the program was the ‘getting-to-know’ part when we all get to hear how the moms had started out in their blogging path. And before this year ends, I’d like to put this event as one of my most favorite blog post...
Were you happy with what you got this Christmas? There’s one way to double that happiness, and that is by sharing with others who did not receive as much as you did. Our kids can share in this gift giving too. And there are 3 easy steps for you to do that. Imagine those pretty smiles and grateful hearts these cute bears will be able to reach. You may not be rewarded financially but surely, your treasures will be added up in heaven. ...
This morning, I found myself browsing on our photos and I realized how big my daughters had become since 5 years ago. Looking at our photos made me feel nostalgic but happy. I feel very grateful to the Lord for blessing us with health and means to provide for the family throughout the years. I also realized that God may have destined us to have two girls only for us not only to be able to provide them well but also for us couple to have ample space for ourselves and be able to share some to others. Our Princesses I also want to...
Year 2015 is almost over and our journey to a perfect smile for my eldest daughter is also in its final stage. And because we were very grateful to Dr. Urbi and Green Apple Dental Clinic who introduced us to Myobrace, a painless way of having my daughter’s teeth fixed, I thought a pre-2016 post will just be worth it. After 15 months of wearing Myobrace and monthly dental check ups, you won’t even know that Maristel already wore her first braces. The results of the appliance she wore almost the whole duration of the program...
