Saving digital copies of all our photos has been my husband and I’s habit ever since we met. In the past, it was very hard to keep printed photos for a long time that’s why even if we don’t have our personal scanner, my husband will always borrow his dad’s scanner just to scan our photos. Now, I think we have millions of photos stocked on our hard drives. This is how my photo albums look like when my babies were still younger. I used to put all kinds of cutey stuff like stickers and cut outs. But no matter how...

Cabecera is a hidden foodie gem in Quezon City, even for families. From afar, it kinda gives you an impression that it’s only for the night owls but actually, once you try their food, you’ll easily mark this is a family favorite. I’ve tried the food here at Cabecera once but I am certain my tweens and my relatives will enjoy this place when I bring them here. Here are some of my favorites: Potato chips – served hot and crispy, not salty and greasy, huge plate serving. I won’t have problem with my kids sharing...

January is a wonderful month to get in touch with nature. We are lucky to be able to live in a home where the front yard is full of greens, thanks to my husband who worked hard on maintaining our mini garden. Last month, we receive a gift which was enjoyed very much by my youngest daughter, who by the way, is the most interested in nature. She loves animals and plants. Actually, she was the one who encouraged us to adopt a pet puppy which is now already 2 years old. The Explore Sandbox had numerous activities which fostered multiple intelligence....

January 2015 is almost over but of course, we have 11 months more this year to prep and do a lot of dressing up for our family affairs, dates with our sweethearts,  school occasions, business meetings and get together with friends. I’ve long learned that being a mom who stays at home most of the time doesn’t mean forgetting about how to look good. And looking good doesn’t mean going ga-ga with make-ups and branded clothes. It’s all about knowing what fits you and what makes you look presentable as much as possible...

Whenever we go malling at Ayala Fairview Terraces, we couldn’t go home without stopping for something to drink, maybe coffee, juice drink, sago or tea. On our last visit, we stopped at Serenitea to relax for a few minutes and try something new. We only order Taro when we go there but last time, I thought we should try something different, something chocolatey. Space in Serenitea at FT is quite small and there are only a couple of seats. You are lucky to find the place empty so that day, when we saw that the corner spot was vacant,...

During rainy days like this day, I couldn’t help imagining the warmth and taste of miso soup from Moshi Koshi at SM Fairview. We’ve visited this place only once but I can clearly remember how cold that day was because of the heavy rain, and Moshi Koshi gave me and my husband a warm reception that lunch time. As usual, as we are not heavy eaters, we just ordered a bento, some gyoza and coke 🙂 My husband usually share meals and we were doing it since we were in college. Moshi Koshi at SM Fairview near Hypermart empty seats...
