There’s so much craze about baked sushi these days and so I thought to join the bandwagon. This recipe is so easy you can bake it in just less than an hour. It’s made mostly of crab meat, rice, and mayonnaise and is a good appetizer or a dish in itself because of the rice. In other sushi bake I saw, they use salmon and I wanted to use that but I’m in a tight budget and besides, I like crab meat nonetheless. Recipe for Sushi Bake 2 cups warm Jasmin rice or Dinorado1 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce (I use Kikkoman)1...
On my birthday, I indulged myself with a chocolate tart, a lemon tart and a slice of basque burnt cheesecake from a popular restaurant called Sourdough Cafe. Since I was also craving for some pasta, I decided to try the Alfredo pasta from their menu. I was surprised that what I ordered was actually a DIY Pasta Kit. Have you tried cooking pasta out of a box like this one? And so I followed the instructions which were clearly printed at the front of the box. Below were an unboxing video and the taste testing courtesy of my daughter....
I love, love every stuff delivered to me from Photobook Philippines. I recently ordered personalized pillows, tumblers, luggage tags, and photo albums and they were amazing. The quality of each item was very satisfactory and I love to see all these pieces of stuff that have our photos and names on them. Customized pillows where our travel photos were printed. I was very happy to discover Photobook because we have lots of photos I’d love to be printed. Printed photos are different from those you save on the computer. For me,...
It will be Father’s Day in a week and I feel that my husband deserves a simple but delicious recipe that he will love. After all, my husband is easy to please when it comes to food. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m his wife that he never complains about my cooking or that he just knows better ( not to antagonize anyone who cooks your meal :-)) So he loves cream dory and I found this recipe from createwithcream.ph, a challenging recipe as the website categorizes it, but I found it easy enough that I...
Have you experienced doing a Facebook Live? Facebook Live is a live stream shown on Facebook Although you can also show recorded videos and play it live, it’s basically for live videos. For me, it’s a thrilling experience, especially that I get to do it with my daughter. I was proud of her because she was a natural and she also supported this event for me. This Facebook Live event was part of a Mother’s Day series for Absolute Distilled Drinking Water, the distilled water brand of choice for moms in the Philippines....
Finally, Chewie was able to get groomed after three months of quarantine. Believe me, I tried washing him myself, tried to clean his fur a bit and lessen the smell but he is a fully grown shih tzu and is so heavy. My whole body ached the next day when I tried to give him a bath. My worry though is that Furry Tails always likes to shave his fur totally whenever we send them there. I don’t read that much about dog grooming but isn’t there a way for them to get rid of the “buhol” or knots from his fur without...
I love jelly, sago, mochi, nata etcetera or any kind of sweet, gooey kind of dessert. So when I saw that Nine Fresh will be opening in a nearby mall, I was quite excited. I didn’t expect that this branch will open while ECQ (enhanced community quarantine) is in place and has an ongoing promo of buy 1 take 1. Yahoo! Nine Fresh is a store that offers cold desserts such as milk tea and these combinations of jelly and nata delicacies. I find their offerings kind of unique. I love to make jelly or desserts made of gelatin so...
Back to school 2020 has already been announced and though I haven’t seen any concrete or specific guidelines yet on how this back-to-school activity will take place, I’ve read that DepEd has already started planning what they need to implement in the next school year to secure our children’s health including :1. revised K-12 curriculum2. reduced class size to 15 to 20 learners per class3. multiple learning delivery modalities4. testing protocols wherein “students and teachers with respiratory symptoms are not allowed...
