What will you do if you have a husband who is an avid toy collector? I guess your answer will be that it will depend if you have the money. Well, guess what, we don’t have that much money. And so it took me a couple of years and several fights before I was able to accept the fact that indeed, this is my husband’s happiness. I guess most housewives will agree with me (unless you are a toy collector yourself) that seeing your husband fill up your house or his toy room with toys can’t be that easy to understand. It seems...
“When choosing vitamin for your kids, what do you consider first? Is it the taste, the price or the brand? For me, it’s the nutritional value. I am no nutritionist but knowing the contents and the nutritional value which will work for your kids can be easy to know. I don’t rely solely on what the packaging says, but I also do my part by researching even a bit on the nutritional information of the vitamin. For example, Nutri10Plus Syrup has these contents. I found out that each of these have crucial effects when it comes...
When I saw this Ensogo Deal for P300 worth of ice cream (paid only P179.00) from Ice Cream Laboratory, I got a coupon immediately because I know how my kids will love to try this new ice cream shop inside SM Fairview. I say my coupon purchase was more than worth it. One order costs P130.00 but it consists of three scoop levels of rich ice cream. PLUS the cool experience of seeing how liquid nitrogen ice cream is being made. See our delicious photos! #deathbychocolate #icecreamlaboratory #icecream #mommybloggersph #tweenselmom A photo...
SM Fairview is a good 10-minute ride away from where I live and our family had been a witness of SM Fairview and SM Foodcourt’s changes right from start. I remember, my husband and I had our first lunch together on SM Fairview’s Foodcourt and that was when we were still not together, as in he wasn’t courting me yet 🙂 SM Foodcourt has been our favorite dining area when it comes to affordable dining (honestly) not only because it’s the nearest from home but also because there are so many choices available for us....
Most of us can definitely relate that our mother’s scents will always be our most precious memories of them. Well, in my case, it was my Lola’s, who has been the mother of our family, even to all her grandchildren. Almost all of my cousins were “laki sa lola” just like me. So I dedicate this post to her. I grew up always looking forward to meal times because of the delicious aroma of her adobo and sinigang. Our Christmases were never the same when she was gone with the smell of her “ube halaya” which...
This is the second in the series of blog posts for our staycation at The Linden Suites. More photos and experiences from our stay at The Linden Suites A separate room for mom and dad. Bathroom Each of the room has its own bathroom, both has its own bathtub. Buffet Breakfast At Mesclun It seemed that the other guests of the hotel had been exhausted with the pool the other night, we have the restaurant almost all by ourselves in the morning. Â Mom, Dad and Hubby checking out the warmers. As far as I remember, there were fried rice, longganisa,...
Every summer vacation, if budget allows it, our family picks a hotel where we would want to spend a night and try the pool. We had stayed on several hotels already and from experience, we can amply say that Manila indeed have nice hotels and most of them are family friendly. Last Mother’s Day, it was quite a unique experience because for the first time, well here in the Philippines, we have stayed overnight in a hotel with my mom and dad in law. The Linden Suites sponsored an overnight stay for the heads of Mommy Bloggers Philippines...
More photos and experiences from our stay at The Linden Suites On our way to the pool at The Linden Suites. We were at the 23rd floor while the pool was on the 9th floor. What’s great at The Linden Suites is that elevator cards are restricted to your floor. You can’t go to the other floors where you don’t stay unless you request access from the lobby. This means the hotel is keen to the security of their guests. Loved the jacuzzi! Water here is much warmer than in the pool but its tolerable and has that soothing effect...
