I am more fond of getting a body scrub service rather than massage. It’s because I feel its what I really need. When I take a bath, it’s hard for me to scrub my back and I am not comfortable using loofah. So I really need someone to scrub my body from time to time. I also feel na nama-massage na din ako through a body scrub service. But whether you like a body scrub or a massage, I’d still recommend Naya Boutique Spa.
Why?
The place is nice, relaxing and smells so good. The front of the building looks simple but on the inside, the interiors and the furniture are coordinated and charming. Like in other spas, you’ll find it a little bit dark when you enter the building but there’s enough light for you to take some photos. I do love the scent they use in the lobby and I was grateful to be able to bring home a bottle at home. Parang nasa spa tuloy ako when I spray it in our room. Bodyscrub Service
The bodyscrub service I got in Naya was just perfect. I chose coffee scrub (Organic Kapeng Barako Scrub) because I love the smell of coffee and I wanted to feel revived and yet, relaxed at the same time. I wasn’t able to get the staff’s name but I liked her service because her hands are light but strong. She scrubbed my whole body with just the right force and she wasn’t talkative or matanong either. When I go to spa, I just want to close my eyes and sleep or listen to Spotify and the staff let me do that. Unlike in the other room where I can hear the staff asking and talking to the customer.
Coffee scrub has great skin benefits including exfoliation and improves circulation of blood. And in a spa, body scrub means really scrubbing all parts of your body (excluding neck up and the private parts) but all the rest are scrubbed including the armpits, the area under the breast, the kneepit, the space between your buttocks, feet and groin (singit). I didn’t feel any discomfort at all kasi the staff was very professional.
Rates
Naya Boutique’s Spa’s rates are budget-friendly. You can avail of the Classic Massage for only P399. I’d definitely go back to Naya maybe in a few months time for a scrub. I might try a Lavander scrub or maybe I can give a Couple Spa as a gift to my husband.
