School Life Is SM Life

There’s no better place for us to celebrate my daughter’s graduation day than in SM simply because it has been part of our journey from the time she started schooling till the time she reached this important milestone. It’s a milestone not only for my daughter’s school life but also for us, her mom and dad. It’s a big thing for me and my husband because as we celebrate her success in finishing grade school with flying colors, she is now bound to bigger challenges as she enters high school next year. It lessens our worry though because there’s SM, our go-to-place, for everything we need.

We celebrated my daughter’s graduation day the day after the ceremony because we thought it had to be with the whole family, with the cousins, the titos and tita, lolo and lola. We had a nice dinner at Savory and enjoyed the Filipino-Chinese food most specially the fried chicken which was my daughter’s favorite and then afterwards, some coffee and cakes for desert at Bo’s coffee. My daughter have always enjoyed the company of our big, extended family. She did not request for any grander celebration and we were happy that she felt that way. We’ve always taught her that there can be no better gift than the love and support of the whole family.

I don’t know if we could have survived our daughter’s school life without going to SM for her schooling needs. You see, books, pens and papers are not the only thing you need when you have students at home. Students have eternal needs for bond papers, envelopes, glue, etcetera for their school projects and don’t forget the school snacks and baon which we needed to have a continuous supply of. But it’s not only the studying part where SM matters. The after-school “gala” we do to relax sometimes, when we don’t have electricity or wi-fi during stormy seasons, or on those times when I was just really not in the mood to cook.

Everything’s Here At SM

From school supplies, groceries, clothing, medicines and medical clinics, bills payment, dining and movies, we find all these in SM. No wonder SM has been a very successful retail chain for decades just because they know what people need. We are also not surprised that even though SM Fairview has been surrounded by other super mall counterparts, SM still flourished and even expanded. Yes, SM Fairview is expanding and will very soon open! Hurrah!

Interesting Mix

Shops in SM is an interesting mixture of luxury and affordable items. Though high-end outlets are not dominant, the addition of new and high-fashion brands makes shopping in SM more appealing. What’s best though is that SM will not make you feel awkward whether you are window-shopping for expensive items or those with items with lower price tags. In SM, you always feel welcome and relaxed.

Convenient

We find the shops and outlets in SM very strategical and this make our lives as mall shoppers very easy. Even though SM is very wide, we can find everything we need in one area. Like in SM Fairview, when we park near the Hypermarket, we can do our grocery and still dine-in, shop for our clothes, and pay our bills without the need to go far. When we have time to spare to hang-out, we just walk to the other side of the mall and see what’s in there. We always have the option.

Exciting

Going to SM has never been boring because there’s always something new for the shoppers to check out. I particularly always check their sale items in the Home area, for new curtains and new home decors while my kids will almost always check their snacks area where there are always sale items or snack deals to avail. I also visit the Beauty section often because they often display new beauty products or promos on my favorite shampoo and body wash.

SM just got everything covered. And I truly feel that SM also got us covered till my daughter finishes her schooling in college and even when she already has her own family. Through the years, we’ve witnessed through our regular visits how SM keeps on improving along with the time, the needs and the technology.

The fireworks began when my daughter graduated in elementary and each diploma she will get afterwards when she finishes high school and college, will be like matches that will spark and recreate those fireworks. Whenever these fireworks are lighted, we will always remember SM because just like a parent’s unending love to their children, SM was always and will always be there for us.
