SamgyupKart K-BBQ and Milk Tea

My husband and I had a lovely date last Valentine’s Day at this humble but definitely recommendable dining spot near our place. It’s one of the branches of the now popular SamgyupKart chain ♥️ Love the sweet and spicy flavor of pork and beef of the samgyup bowl and samgyup wraps we ordered. Matched with the different flavors of milk tea (matcha, brown sugar and taro – yes I ordered 3) our lunch date was perfect.

What’s delicious in SamgyupKart’s offerings?

The samgyup bowls are basically white rice, marinated pork or beef, and veggies on top of rice. You can choose from 5 different kinds of marinades : plain, classic, spicy, hot bbq and soy garlic ( familiar korean, bbq and marinade flavors). The simplicity and the cleanliness of the flavors lured me to these dishes. Because that’s what I am usually after when it comes to food, simple and uncomplicated flavors that hit me as soon as the meat and rice touch my tongue. Ayoko ng hinahanap pa yung lasa.

This establishment follows the city ordinance of not using plastic.

Then they serve their rice bowls fresh and warm, fluffy rice, tender meat and all. These are the basic qualities of food that will surely be loved by everyone, either when you are in a hurry or you just want to fill up your tummy with something comforting. The meat they serve is the same as with the samgyupwraps. I love the thinly sliced and tender beef that don’t have tough veins, just meaty goodness.

Complement your food with any of the milk teas they offer and you have the perfect lunch/dinner just like we had. They have the classic milk tea flavors and the specials. To say I love you to my date, I ordered three flavors : Brown Sugar, Matcha and Taro. Just like the dishes, the milk teas are absolute thirst-quenchers
