#GlobeHalloweenAtHome Digital Halloween Event

We really missed how fun our last year’s Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween party was so we set ourselves at home to spend Halloween with some popcorn and a good scary movie. But we got a cute invitation to attend a Halloween event although it was a digital one. It was a digital event sponsored by Globe Telecoms where there was a party invitation and a link was provided which was exclusive for the attendees. We also got a time slot when we should be accessing the link.

Nice party favors sent by PR before the event.

We were curious about how this event would be like!

One day before the event, we got some party favors that include a pumpkin basket with some drinks inside, popcorns, party illuminators, sour gums, and a Kinder Joe. It was kind of the PRs to send these over as they made the kids more Halloweenish. We got an 11Am-1PM slot so we prepared earlier, I cooked lunch earlier and my daughter and I wore our witch hats.

When I accessed the link, it led us to a page where I input the codes sent via mobile text. And then a page that looks like an event hall appears. There we could click on different areas where we would like to participate.

The virtual lounge area

First we tried the photo booth corner where we captured our wacky Halloween photos. It was fun!

Then we tried a kiddie duck maze game. We haven’t played games using the computer so we didn’t gain much points there, but it was fun as well.

There were also horror games by the popular Mystery Manila. Mystery Manila has mystery rooms where groups of people will choose one and enter it and then solve puzzles before they are able to go out. Because of the pandemic, their branches were temporarily shut down but they offer online games on their website mysterymanila.com. Since my youngest was below 18, we couldn’t join the game.

Too bad we didn’t have much time to explore since we only got two hours but still, I think Globe was commendable in having this kind of event. Looking forward to more fun online events from them from now on!

How about you? How did you find Halloween 2020 in your area?
