Leisure Trip At The Wonderful Okada Manila

We’ve always been curious of why so many of my friends I know love to go to Okada Manila. So we decided to have a peek of this resort hotel a few months ago. Never too late to post about it you know.

Why the delay of our visit? Because sometimes, I am very particular with colors. Pink is one of my favorite colors but seeing how pink the rooms were in Okada, I wasn’t really attracted at first. When we got there, I realized I really should never be biased when it comes to color. Because colors come with the photos or even the videos where you’ve seen them, and sometimes they appear differently when you see them in person.

The hotel looks so pretty in person with all those gigantic and ornate moldings and medallions.

Wall projections inside Okada Manila are amazing. I wonder how they look like during the holidays.

We wanted to see how the casino looks like inside but my youngest wasn’t allowed (age restricted to 18 years old above) so we just skipped it.

There were beautiful projections at the walls and moving video walls all over Okada and we just had a great time watching all these.

Dinner at Las Flores

There were many retail stores inside Okada, some sell high-end brand products like Kate Spade, La Coste, Pandora and Tommy Hilfiger. All these shops you can see on Okada’s website. I really love it that they’ve updated their website now and they’ve added previews of the places inside the resort that we haven’t seen when we were there.

Then there are a number of places to eat inside, both affordable like Jollibee and more pricey ones. We had dinner at Las Flores and we enjoyed the food a lot.

Then of course, we saw the largest multicolor dancing fountain in the
world at the center of Okada. They have scheduled shows of the fountain and we were lucky to watch it after dinner. The music in the background was beautiful and the dancing fountain is a must-watch. For 30-minutes, I was super grateful to experience it with my family, I almost broke to tears because of Josh Groban’s You Lift Me Up music.

It has been months since I’ve written this blog and it must be exciting to see Okada again. Maybe if we have the budget, we’ll try to book a room, try their pool, try another restaurant and watch the fountain again at night.

Check out the video I took last time (video above). I hope it gives you a glimpse of Okada and how nice the hotel is. We’ve always wondered why this hotel is so popular to tourists and OFW. No wonder why. The place is simply fabulous.
