Who doesn’t adore people with clean and sparkling set of teeth? For me, a natural set of white teeth is much better than having a perfect denture because sometimes, you can still identify what’s fake and what’s not.
For people who are willing to invest to make their teeth whiter instantly, a teeth whitening bar called The Smile Bar is now fully operational in the Philippines. Within 20 minutes, The Smile Bar can make your teeth between 2 to 9 shades whiter using a teeth whitening gel and a sophisticated whitening lamp. Let me give you peek inside The Smile Bar and the processes involved as my daughter went through it. It was a quick, smooth process and the end result was beautiful.
Step 1
– We were briefed of the processes by the specialist since it will be my daughter’s first time. Yes, you can come again at the smile bar if you want to further whiten your teeth. There’s a price which corresponds to the number of treatment you may wish to avail.

Single Whitening – 20 minutes of direct whitening service. This is usually taken by customers who want to maintain an existing white smile. (P2,999)
Double Whitening – 2 sessions of 20 minutes direct whitening. For better results and to get several shads of whiter teeth (4,999)
Triple Whitening – 3 sessions of 20 minutes – For best results and to get substantially whiter teeth (P6,499)
Nano Seal Total + – After a whitening session, Nano Seal will allow the customer to keep the usual lifestyle without any impact on the result of teeth whitening. (P1,299)
Step 2
– After this, the specialist took some photos of her “before” teeth so we can assess the shade of teeth she had before undergoing the procedure. Afterwards my daughter was asked to clean her mouth using a special mouthrinse and toothpaste. And then an oral cleaning activator was applied to her teeth.
Step 3
– My daughter was then told to go to a cushioned chair shaped like an egg and there the specialist applied their branded teeth whitening gel. Then the gel was exposed to an LED plasma light through a machine like a small flashlight. My daughter said the gel tasted like nothing and she didn’t feel any discomfort with the LED light.
Step 4
– Then we waited 40 minutes she was given a double whitening procedure. What’s nice in The Smile Bar was that the place was fully equipped to make the waiting time a pleasant one. You can use a tablet and nice headphone to listen to music, wi-fi connection is good, and air-conditioning perfect. I just waited for my daughter in the lobby and there was a couch there where I waited comfortably.
Step 5
– After 40 minutes, the specialist applied a thin kind of paste which she calls as the Nano Seal Total +. According to her, this is an additional application so that my daughter will be able to eat whatever kind of food, even if they are colored, and it won’t stain her teeth.

Step 6
– After a couple of minutes, my daughter rinsed her mouth and went to another room for assessment. We saw the difference instantly because from the second darkest shade, her teeth were now 7 shades whiter.

Is it safe?
The Smile Bar, as they told us, uses products and formula that are safe. From their leaflets, it mentioned that the US National Library of Medicine have confirmed that the active ingredients in the whitening gel they use only acts on organic material, such discoloration from coffee or tea, and leaves the teeth pearly white without having done any damage to the enamel.
My daughter was very happy with her teeth after the treatment. She became more careful of what she eats and her dental hygiene because she wants to maintain her sparkling white teeth. When we were there, I noticed several customers who also visited the place that day and I was quite surprised that many are already availing the services. Medyo huli na pala kami sa balita haha.
