Lucky Pig Strawberry Jelly Dessert

It’s the year of the pig and I’d like to make some slightly sweet and fruity, chilled dessert for my kids. This was the quickest thing that got on my mind. I have boxes of flavored Mr. Hat Gulaman and their strawberry flavor will be just perfect. What I love with Mr. Hat Gulaman’s flavored jelly powder is that they taste natural and only mildly sweet. I can control the sweetness as I like and the fruit flavor doesn’t taste like medicine, unlike those commercially made gelatin desserts on the market.

Ingredients:

1/2 sachet strawberry flavor Mr.Hat Gulaman
3 cups water (not hot, not cold)
1 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup sugar
chocolate chips, marshmallow and sour gums for the pig decor

How to make:

Gently sprinkle Mr. Hat Gulaman in water and stir.
Heat the mixture on low heat. Stir continously.
While stirring, pour the milk and then the sugar.
Stir the mixture until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the mixture on your dessert bowls like the one I used.
Chill your gelatin dessert for at least an hour.
To garnish/decor your pig jelly dessert, use white marshmallow, cut it for the pig’s snout and ears.
Chocolate chips will be for the eyes and the sour gums for the nostrils.
The texture of the chocolate chips, the sour gum and the marshmallow will be just perfect to pair with the smooth strawberry-flavored gelatin.

Believe me, this is a very simple dessert but something your kids and all adults will surely enjoy. Who knows, maybe give you some more luck too!
