Are you feeling peachy today? If you answered yes, then this dessert is for you. I love peaches not only because it’s taste is unique but very mild. The flesh of peaches are fibrous and yet they always look pretty whether you serve it in halves or in slices.

This dessert is perfect in any kind of weather and on any occasions. And because it’s so pretty, you can serve it on those special days when you just want to show-off.

What you will need:
1-2 850g canned peach halves, sliced
Tip: Make sure to buy fresh stocks or check the expiration date, the newer the stock the better as the peaches will be firm, not soggy. I used Sunbest and they are good even though they are the cheapest in the grocery. You can choose to use 1 can only if you want less peaches in your jelly.
1 300ml Nestle Thick Cream
1 250ml condensed milk
1 sachet of yellow unflavored Mr. Hat Gulaman
3 tablespoon sugar
1 9×3 ring mold – I was able to buy in Landmark Trinoma for P229

How to make:

Boil 3 cups water with 3 tbsp sugar
Add 1/2 Mr. Hat Gulaman powder and let it boil until the powder dissolves
Let the gulaman mixture cool a bit
Arrange your sliced peaches in the ring mold.
Pour the gulaman mixture when cool enough to handle into the ring mold. Fill up the mold till all the peaches are covered fully.
Put the gelatin inside the refrigerator but don’t freeze it.
Prepare your cream mixture by mixing the thick cream and the condensed milk.
Chill your cream mixture inside the ref but don’t freeze it.
When it’s time for you to serve the dessert, pour your cream mixture into your serving dish.
Unmold your peach gelatin into a separate dish before putting it over the cream mixture.
Serve your chilled peach cream float. If you have other fresh fruits, you can serve it at the middle of the mold.
Remember not to freeze any remaining gelatin dessert with the cream, or else your cream will get watery.
