I made this cute bento box for a campaign for Absolute Distilled Drinking Water and I was so thrilled of the outcome I wanted to share how I made them. If you are a bento fan or if you find this bento box cute and want to know how I did it, you can watch this short video.

Making bento boxes are fun and though it takes effort, it can surely make the receiver smile with delight. The downside is that sometimes it’s too cute that you just can’t eat it.

Watch as I explained how I made this Avengers Bento Box

This Avengers bento box consists of our favorite characters: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk. I used a panda-shaped rice mold to make the heads, cut cheese for facial features, and crispy seaweed for the eyes, nose. Everything in the bento box can be eaten so aside from the characters, you have in there chicken sausages, hotdogs, grape tomatoes, broccoli, and lettuce. Then I’ve added a cute container where you put the ketchup.

I make bento boxes a lot more often when my daughters were younger and I love it when they came from school and tell me how proud they were of their lunch boxes and showed them to their classmates during lunchtime. Sometimes I would even put small love letters or tiny notes of good luck when they have exams or when I just want them to read sweet notes from me when they are in school.

These small acts of love for our kids go a long way. They remember them and so if you have time in your hands, I really do suggest doing some bento making from time to time.

If you will be making your bento box, which characters would you wish to make?
