I’m a fan of baby colognes since I was young as I can remember. Until these days, I prefer wearing cologne than EDT’s or perfumes. Even with my daughters, I still dab them cologne before they go to school. My girls are not that particular if they wear cologne or not but I tell them to wear one to keep them from smelling as “amoy-araw”. My favorite cologne is Denenes, and I know it’s a public favorite too (actually I saw a photo of Kris Aquino having a bottle of Denenes in her bag). It’s baby-fresh and doesn’t irritate our noses. My youngest and I both have allergic rhinitis and even the slightest smell can trigger our allergy. Denenes doesn’t. I can spray it all around and over our bodies and we’ll just smell good, no allergies. Denenes is also paraben-free so it feels light and safe on our skin.
Denenes is originally from Spain and has been around since the 1950’s, longer than most baby products available in the local market. Over the years, they have expanded their line and to include many personal care products that are now used by teens and adults.
Denenes’ prices range from P389 to P1,000 for the various products, with sizes ranging from 125ml to 650ml. These include shampoos, shower gels and moisturizers that are now available in most leading supermarkets in the Philippines.
