Yeah Yeah Chinese Cuisine At Hemady Street, Quezon City

If you want to eat comforting and HongKong style Chinese food, Yeah Yeah Chinese Cuisine is a great place to be. Tucked within the not-so-busy Hemady Street in E. Rodriguez, Quezon City, on the 2nd floor of Hemady Square building, you’ll easily see this spot in the end corner.

Ambiance

If you will dine in during the day, you’ll find the restaurant filled with natural light and that was why I got my best food photos ever in this restaurant. The seats and tables are well spaced out and can cater to small and big groups of people. I also saw an enclosed room that can serve families or maybe groups of people who want to eat in a more private area. I like the kind of this table setting because unlike in other Chinese restaurants when you can almost hear what the people on the next table talk about, in here, you can peacefully eat your food without too much noise.

Food

On the first time I visited Yeah Yeah, our host that day ordered a spread of several dishes  which filled our entire table and there was nothing in there that I disliked. One by one, as the waiters put the dishes on our table, I know I had to prepare my tummy with more spaces to fill in with more food than the ones I’ve eaten that week.

4 pcs medium sized pork siomai costs 98, meaty, filling and a great appetizer or snack

These hakaws may seem to be small in the photos but they are quite filling and still my favorite dimsum of all.

Cute piggy salted egg yolk will pass up as a dessert with its slightly sweet taste. Reminds of the cute paos in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Salt and Pepper Squid – don’t eat here without ordering this!

Muhroom pao looks like huge shiitake mushrooms. Light mushroom taste and one bite makes you wanting more.

My favorite dessert pao with sweetened walnut bits and cream inside.

Hot prawn salad, definitely one of the dishes I’ll come back for.

Sweet and sour pork, the meat inside surprised me a lot with its tenderness. The sauce was a little too sweet for me but nonetheless delicious.

Vloggers talk about the dishes in front of them. They sounded so excited throughout the review.

My table mate that day was Rodel Flordeliz who is a popular lifestyle blogger nognoginthecity.com. We had a nice chat that day and talked about Filipino movies while we ate.

The restaurant was open for guests that day and I saw big and small groups who dined in. I love to see extended families eating in restaurants.

Price

The price of food is mid-range for me, or I may say each dish is priced accordingly. You won’t feel cheated on what you will pay and if you still have some spare cash, you will always be tempted to order something to bring home. That’s how I felt that day. Unfortunately, I was maxed out that day but I wished to be able to take home an order of lechon macau, garlic broccoli and hot soup. So definitely, I’d be going back to Yeah Yeah, next time with the whole family. If you want to, you can check the menu on this video.
