On my birthday, I indulged myself with a chocolate tart, a lemon tart and a slice of basque burnt cheesecake from a popular restaurant called Sourdough Cafe. Since I was also craving for some pasta, I decided to try the Alfredo pasta from their menu. I was surprised that what I ordered was actually a DIY Pasta Kit. Have you tried cooking pasta out of a box like this one?
And so I followed the instructions which were clearly printed at the front of the box. Below were an unboxing video and the taste testing courtesy of my daughter.
I think this DIY Pasta Kit is so cool and perfect for gifting and I can think of the perfect persons to give this kit to :
1. pasta lovers who want to stock ready-to-cook pasta dishes
2. newbie cooks who want to impress guests
3. anyone who wants to gift someone who loves to cook or who will need a DIY Pasta kit
4. party hosts who need to serve yummy pasta instantly
5. families who check-in hotels to celebrate or when you go out of town and you want to serve freshly-cooked delicious pasta
What I love in this DIY Pasta Kit is that you don’t have to bring or open so many ingredients to make yourself a delicious pasta dish. 1 kit I think can serve 3-4 persons already and you just have to have a pot of water to cook the ingredients and you have the pasta basically within 30 minutes.
The taste of the fettuccine alfredo was simple, clean, and simply delicious. You can eat it as is or mix in some meat (tuna, chicken, or bacon) and you will have a more filling and equally delicious dish. My daughters really loved this DIY Pasta Kit and I think I’ll be ordering another one soon.
